To say that events had blown themselves out of proportion, it would be an understatement and only made Vanitas entirely too happy to have latched onto the ever enigmatic Noé! He wanted to know everything about him, while keeping his own secrets intact because he didn't know who on this earth would be the one to try and steal the book.
Granted it was kind of bound to him by obligation and name but that didn't mean others wouldn't come to try and steal it like some kind of petty thief. Not that he figured Noè was just a thief; his moves back on the airship proved that and life was already much better now that they were on solid ground in Paris, and he'd finally gotten the over-sized vampire manchild to actually not stick his face against some of the shop windows long enough that he got them their very own carriage. Well... okay. It was more of what you'd call a sort of 'car' or something along those lines but they were driven by someone else and he flippantly told the driver a location while shooing Noé into the car.
It was incredibly spacious as it was, making the dark haired doctor lounge back into the seat before almost dramatically crossing one leg over the other and his arms extending out to rest along the top of the seat he was on.
"So... Noé.... Are you ever going to peel your face from the window of this carriage?" A grin curled his lips knowingly, seeming entirely too pleased with himself even if the almost dirty look he got from that rotten little cat spoke more volumes than anything else. He didn't even know what the poor animal's problem was with him because hey. He was a good guy... mostly.
So what if a few intentions were skewed somewhat?

Date: 2016-01-28 04:31 am (UTC)Though he felt he'd scratched the surface of the human calling himself Vanitas, he still knew so little. Of course he was irritating and flamboyant and Noe didn't like his methods, he couldn't help but feel like there was something he was missing yey, underneath all of that. Still- it was hard to try and give him that benefit when he continued to act in that same irritating manner that he'd never liked in the first place.
"What would you have me do? There's still a long ride to the outskirts of the city." And naturally, he assumed that Vanitas was just making trouble for the sake of riling him up. This was why he had trouble liking the man. He was... difficult!!
